The Say Hi app is simple and easy to use. It only takes up a small space in your device so it will not be a hassle to have around.

Unfortunately, its services are only available on the app. It does not have a mobile responsive version but the app is free to download on Apple and Android devices.

The app is also responsive and loads fast so you are sure to have smooth conversations when using their chat feature.

“The logo and UI design of Say Hi was what intrigued me at first. The colors and graphics captured my interest immediately. The app was minimal in size, so my download was done in less than a minute. After signing up, I instantly saw the active users who were near me. I initiated chats with some, and some sent me messages first. I’ve already met up with some and had an enjoyable time. Design and Usability

Using Say Hi is relatively easy even to new users of the app. You can find everything you need on the collapsible menu which is represented by the three lines located on the upper left side.

The special features of the app are on the ‘Explore’ tab. The features are each represented by cute, colourful, motion graphics, and are arranged in a table layout.

The design appearance of Say Hi is modern that it perfectly fits this generation’s taste. The app uses pastel colours, which are soft in the eyes, and cooler shades for contrast and emphasis.

Aside from the contacting features that Say Hi offers its members, they also have several other distinctive features. These are represented by colorful motion graphics and can be found on the ‘Explore’ tab of the app. 

When you click most of the graphics, there will be a pop-up notification saying that you need to download a plugin. When you click ‘Yes’, it would take you to your App Store, where you can continue the installation.

Once you’ve downloaded the plugin, you can access all the apps in one-click through the ‘Explore’ tab. You only need to download one plugin to use all the special features.

This is similar to a video chat roulette, wherein you will be matched randomly with another user who is also using the video chat. You get five seconds to leave the app before the random video chat begins.

This feature matches you with another member for a random voice chat. Similar to the Random Video Chat, you may also leave the app five seconds before the conversation begins.

HQ Trivia Online is a game feature wherein you will be matched randomly with another user who is also playing the game. You will be quizzed and the user who gets the most points wins. This feature makes use of your video camera, and there is no way to turn it off.

Match History simply lists all the users who you’ve matched with randomly by using the three features above. This helps you connect with them again.

Shake Shake requires an additional download. This feature matches you with a random SayHi member to chat with whenever you shake your phone.

This feature also requires an additional download. This feature is similar to a discussion forum wherein you can post conversation starters or reply to posts made by other members.

This feature lists all the members who have visited your profile. It allows you to connect with them in just a click quickly.

‘I’m a Superstar’ is a VIP feature. Being a Superstar puts your profile on the featured members' board.

The Chatroom is where you can join random live discussions of currently active members. This is free for all members. However, not many use this particular feature of SayHi.

Emojis are graphics that you can send to other users. Some emojis require additional downloads, but some are already ready to be sent.

Themes are skins you can use for your app to foster personalisation. Most themes need to be downloaded.
