JSwipe is the largest and the fastest growing Jewish dating app available in the market. Since its conception in 2014, the app has gathered over 600,000 members across 70 countries already. Most of its members are found in the large cities in the world, including Los Angeles, New York, and Tel Aviv. Your matches are based on location, but you can always adjust the distance scope in the app settings. You can even set it to worldwide if you want.

JSwipe is an app that helps millennial Jews find love, romance, and friendship. Though the app was first developed to cater to the needs of the Jewish community, it has now opened its doors to non-Koshers who are interested in knowing Jewish traditions and are actually considering marrying a Jew someday. 

If you are looking for casual arrangements, this may not be the best app for you. Most of its users are looking for long-term relationships, someone they can bring to every family dinner, or someone they can celebrate Hanukkah with.

There is only one way to register an account in JSwipe and that is by signing up via Facebook. Apparently, the app can only be used by Facebook users. So if you're planning to try JSwipe, better make sure to have a Facebook account first. 

Upon launching the app, you will see a button which says "Login with Facebook." By tapping on it, you are granting the app access to some information you've given in Facebook. That information will then be synced to your JSwipe account. The registration process won't take long since you no longer have to fill out forms or take personality tests before getting an account.

Your match suggestions in JSwipe are based on your distance/location. But unlike other location-based dating apps, JSwipe allows you to take control of your distance settings. You can choose to shorten or widen your distance radius anytime you want. It also has a  "worldwide" option that makes you swipe through members from across the world for free.

There is no swipe limit in JSwipe so you can just go and swipe all day! When you get a match, make sure to leave them a message. Matches expire within 18 days so better strike a conversation before it's too late. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to say "Hi!" because it's free!

    Do you really need an upgrade to enjoy JSwipe? Well, that depends on your definition of 'enjoy'. If you are happy with unlimited swipes and free messages, then the answer is probably yes.

    New members have the privilege to experience some of the paid features for a limited time, specifically the Passport and the Explore option. With this, you will have a firsthand experience of how a First Class account would be like. After your free trial expires, you will be prompted to upgrade to first class.     Membership and Usability

    Can I use JSwipe without Facebook?

    Unfortunately, the only option for you to sign up and create an account for JSwipe is through Facebook. If you want to try JSwipe, make sure to create a Facebook profile first.

    I can't log in. What do I do?

    If you can't log in to JSwipe, you can try to troubleshoot by deleting and reinstalling the app. Make sure that you don't delete your account so you can get your matches and messages back after reinstalling the app.

    What is the minimum age requirement?

    The minimum age requirement for JSwipe is 18 years old. If you are below 18, you can still create an account, but your profile will not be shown to other members.

    How do I change my name?

    JSwipe gets your personal information from your Facebook account. If you want to change your name in JSwipe, you have to update your Facebook name first. Once updated, go to "Settings", "Edit Profile" and tap on the "Update Facebook Interests" option. 

    Why can't I upload photos?

    If you're having trouble uploading your photos, check and see if you have the latest version of the app and make sure that you gave JSwipe permission to access your photos. 

    How do I delete a match?

    Once you delete a match, he/she will not be able to contact you via the app anymore. To delete a match in JSwipe:

    For iOS, just simply go to the chat/matches section and swipe left over your match's name. You will then be prompted in red to continue and delete it.

    For Android, from the chat/matches section, hold down the name of the match you want to delete. A pop-up asking you if you wanna delete the match will appear. Then click "Yes".

    If I swiped left on a user in JSwipe, can they still see my profile?

    It is possible for a person you swiped left on to still see your profile. 

    Can I block someone from seeing my profile?

    JSwipe has not yet developed a feature that will allow you to block anyone from viewing your profile.
