Signing up at WantMatures is pretty straightforward; all you have to do is answer one form.

First, indicate your orientation and preference (a man looking for a woman, a woman looking for a man, a man looking for a man, or a woman looking for a woman). Then, select your age. WantMatures will accept everyone as young as 18 to a single who’s already in their 70s; age is just a figure.

Then, key in your email address and nominated password. You will also need to verify if the geotagged location is correct; change it if it's not for more accurate results.

Click ‘Join Now,’ and an activation link and 4-digit code will be emailed to you. Verify your email address first before completing your registration at WantMatures.

In terms of plentiful communication features, WantMatures is a bit lacking: it only offers four functions. What's good is that three out of the four are free.

• Winks

Even in offline interactions, a wink is construed as a flirty interaction. Giving off a wink lets the other party know you got your eyes on them. 

At WantMatures, send winks to the people you find interesting. It will notify members immediately, thus, letting them know you are open to chat or more depending on how the conversation flows.

• Like Gallery

With millions of members all around the globe, you’re bound to miss someone that would have been the perfect match for you.

Don’t let anyone be the one that got away. Browse profiles one-by-one at the Like Gallery to fully appreciate a member at WantMatures.

• Favourites

Speaking of the what-would-have-been, save all the members who look appealing in your Favourites list. That way, no one’s forgotten as a link to their profile is saved.

• Chat

The most direct way to interact with another WantMatures member is via chat. However, this is a premium feature, so you may want to consider upgrading your account to interact.

To try it out, WantMatures will give you five free chats. Choose to spend it on one member or say ‘Hi!’ to five at once. 

Regarding the reports on fake accounts, one thing we noticed was the immediate surge of messages and notifications claiming that several women browsed our profiles, added us to their favourites list or sent us a like. 

This would have been nice, but our profile was just fresh. We haven’t uploaded a photo, nor customised our details. This led us to wonder what they found interesting in our profiles.

Profiles at WantMatures are not as detailed, but it features enough so you can make out the person’s countenance and qualities.

Browsing most of the member’s profile is free; if you’d like to see their photo and ‘Looking For’ information, you’ll have to upgrade your account.

Even without a subscription, you’ll see the following details:

• Basic Information

Right on top of their profiles, the member’s primary photo will be displayed along with their username, age, and location. The buttons to initiate a chat, send a like, or add the member to your Favourites list will also be in this section. You can also block or report a member’s profile here.

• Personal Information and Gallery

A member’s orientation, hair colour, ethnic origin, and body type will be featured in this section. The Gallery, as its name implies, will include the photos and videos a member uploads. Note that you’ll have to upgrade to view these content freely.

• Preference and Location

You can see the member’s location for free, but what they’re looking for at WantMatures will remain a mystery if you don’t have a paid subscription.

• Additional Information

You can read the details on a member’s physique, hobbies, vices, and professional life in this section located at the bottommost part of their profile page.

Apart from their photo and necessary details like orientation, age, and location, most of the profiles we’ve seen are bare. Sure, you can request more info for free, but the plentiful empty profiles may come across as suspicious.
