Not much...I set the distance range to the minimum possible, of 50 miles, as I had little desire to spend inordinate amounts of time and money to mee... t anyone, not to mention all its attendant impracticality. However, Silver Singles' automated response was that this was too limited and suggested 100 miles. The result was despite living on the UK South East coast, I kept getting "matches" in Wales, the north like Shropshire! More than 200 miles away! I also haven't had any interest other than one at the end of August. I don't think I'm unattractive (since the initial impression is based on looks) and have many interests and life experiences. I really believe this site is very limited for anyone looking in the UK. Most disappointing. «»

Hardly anything.I get the idea that the personality gobbledegook is rubbish; is there not the saying opposites attract? As a retired software quality... engineer, I think the apps are simply programmed to give ra ra look at what great matches we have for you! I have yet to extricate myself from the site. I posted a letter with proof of posting to Berlin, which has been ignored. «»

there is nothing I like about this site, it gets you in with a three-month payment then you can't even get any money backI signed up for three months... wow what a mistake, there seems to be a lot of men on here but I'm sure a lot of them aren't real profiles, no one contacts you at all it's the worst dating site out, and you can't even get your money back once signed up «»

Very poor customer service. My credit cards both declined automatic renewal as they consider the site « dodgy ». Away from home, arranging a bank tran... sfer was a nightmare. I lost a week of service yet to date they have failed to adjust the subscription dates. Dishonest. «»

What a con! They advertise "local" matches which are at least 3 hours' drive away; I specifically asked for matches to be taller than me. I'm 5'8" -... most matches were around 5'5". I don;t like sport, most matches were into golf, football, swimming and going to the gym. A disaster from my point of view - asked for a refund and was refused because I didn't change my height preference from "very important" to "any height"! No, it doesn't make sense to me either. «»
