Signing up to Polish Hearts is quite simple. You can either register via Facebook or choose to do it manually. If you choose the latter, you only have to provide a username of your choice. After giving the said information, your profile will be submitted to the administrators for reviewing.

For those who opt to use their private emails, you have to specify your sex and birthdate and provide a valid email, username, and a strong password. Once you have all that, click register and wait for the verification code that they send you in your email. Only after you verify will you be able to proceed to fill in your profile.

The site does not ask for your full name upon registration (even if you register via Facebook). Your username will serve as your identification so be careful in choosing a username for your account. Make sure that you like it and that you don't forget it, because there is no way you can change your username after you sign up.

To contact someone on Polish Hearts, you need to subscribe to a paid membership of your choice. Only paid members can message other users, read emails from other users, send gifts, and etc. 

Standard members can only do limited things like search for other users, update their profiles, and send a few reactions to other members. The only moment a standard account can freely have a conversation with someone on the site is when he or she is added to a VIP list. Only VIP and Premium+VIP can build a list of VIP members. Once you are listed as a VIP by someone, you will be free to send him or her emails without having to pay for a membership upgrade.

If you find someone interesting, and you do not have the capacity to send them an email yet or add them to your VIP list, you can click on the 'Remember this profile' to add them to your friend's list.

The profile pages in Polish Hearts are not as detailed as what the other sites have. Your profile only has some of your personal information like sex, birthday, and location. It also includes a little basic information about your appearance, likes, hobbies, and etc. 

The site uses usernames for their members' identification. Your username is the only thing you can't change or edit in the future, so be careful when choosing one. If you wish to take a time off from Polish Hearts, you can suspend your profile anytime. This makes your profile invisible to other members. Suspended profiles cannot receive messages or gifts. If you decide to use the site again, you can restore your profile by logging in to the site again. 

You can also choose to delete your Polish Hearts profile. Choosing to delete your profile deletes all of your lists and messages too. Once your profile is deleted, there is no way of getting it back. However, you can create a new account using the same email address you have used before.

Polish Hearts offers three different premium membership types for its members: Premium, VIP, and Premium + VIP. Its members often confuse the premium and VIP membership with each other. Some even think that both membership types are the same. But to be clear, VIP only allows you to add people to your VIP list. Anyone you add to your VIP list will be able to send you messages for free. On the other hand, the premium membership allows you to use more of the site's premium services. The features you'll unlock with a premium membership are as follows:

• send and receive messages
• send and receive gifts 
• see the list of people who visited your profile  
• see who remembered you, and  
• add up to five photos 

To have the complete access to all of the site's feature, the third membership option, Premium + VIP, is recommended. 

The site does not have a lot of free features for standard members to enjoy. All of its messaging features are only available for premium members (except of course if someone adds you to their VIP list). An account upgrade for Polish Hearts is a bit more pricey compared to other dating sites which could put off other people who might want to go premium.
