With a free app the motivations of people joining are not always good or serious. Requiring you to accept someone's like before they can send you a message gives you an opportunity to assess if you want to communicate with someone before they decide to bombard your phone and inbox with messages.

Moreover, if you want to block another member, you don’t have to worry since they won’t be notified.

If you happen to create an account, it would be to your advantage to upload a great profile picture to get more likes and have greater options. However, if you are uncomfortable with the idea of your identity out there, there are still ways to use the app discreetly.

One great thing about this app is how active the moderators are in spotting a fake profile and removing the account right away. This tactic helps keep the community healthy, especially since the app is 100% free to use.

More Than One has a good idea but its execution falls flat. Although the moderators are active in removing fake profiles, there are not many active members anyway in the first place. The app looks good and you can easily navigate it. However, there are very few features that make this app worth using. If you are interested in exploring your sexuality and trying out new things, you are better off checking out these casual dating sites instead.

What kind of matching algorithm does More Than One use?

They don't use a fancy matching algorithm and probably never will. This app is designed for really only one purpose: to help you meet another a like minded person (or persons).

How do I know the people on More Than One are real?

They are really aggressive about deleting any profile they deem to be fake.
