FaceFlow Review April 2024

“Last year, I wasn’t really looking for a dating app when I encountered FaceFlow. I was looking for a website app wherein I could have a video conference call with my friends from different parts of the world. I searched video conference no download from Google and saw FaceFlow on top of the search results page. After signing up, I was taken to a website app where the default room was the Public Chatroom. It was fun chatting with random strangers for a while, but I remembered my initial purpose. I asked my friends to sign up in the app, and we did our conference call without any interruptions and setbacks. After, I tried FaceFlow’s other feature, ‘Find Random Partner’ and quickly established a connection with her. We instantly became friends, and we added each other on the app. We still talk today, but there’s nothing really romantic about it. I personally think that FaceFlow is great to use with your friends, but for dating, there might be better options.”  - Liam, 28, NYC

Design and Usability

FaceFlow is designed to give a smooth experience to its users. Everything you need can be easily found on the platform’s interface, which makes it straightforward to use. The features of the chat platform are on the ‘Meet New People’ drop-down menu. The text box is at the bottom, while the list of users who are currently online in the public chat room are on the left side. All your active chats are on the right side, as well as your contacts list.

Appearance-wise, the design of FaceFlow is modern and appealing. It is catchy to the eyes of the new generation. You could also change the color theme of your interface if the default color of blue-green doesn't suit your personality.

Security of FaceFlow

Although there hasn’t been any news or controversy about FaceFlow, we have noticed that there is a lack of security in the chat platform. 

For instance, there are no report buttons accessible on the chat platform and in a user’s profile. So there are possible scammers that use the site to extort other members. 

FaceFlow doesn’t have guidelines on how members should behave on the app and the limitations of what they can post. So many users use adult content or celebrity photos as their profile pictures.

But as with any other free chat app, users are expected to practice vigilance when talking to strangers. Members are supposed to be wary when other users are asking for private information.

FaceFlow has a video call function which members and guests can use for free. You can instantly change from instant messaging to video call by clicking the ‘Video Call’ button from the chat box.

In FaceFlow, members and guests can converse using text messages. When you use instant messaging, you can send files and share photos.

Video conferencing is FaceFlow’s flagship feature. For easier access to the chat conference room, you can create a guest magic link which you can send to your friends.

There is a public chat room where you can meet and converse with other FaceFlow members. The public chat room is automatically configured to connect you with those who are approximate to your current location.

This feature of FaceFlow is available to its registered members. It matches you with a random member who is also currently using the feature for a random video chat.

FaceFlow has a blog where you can learn about the app’s new updates and features. However, this blog is not updated as its last post published was back in the year 2017.
