I downloaded this app because I was intrigued and frankly, I had nothing better to do. I’ve tried a lot of apps before and I really wasn’t expecting much for Yubo. However, once I finished creating a profile, I was immediately hooked. The people I’ve encountered have all been nice. And I love chatting with people who like the same things that I do. I tried livestreaming once. It had been a blast. I just talked about my favourite books and my viewers also shared the books they are currently reading. All in all, this app has filled the void during quarantine. Even if I didn’t purchase any paid features, there is enough functionality left that I can still interact with others, no problem.

My location is incorrect. How can I update it?
Updating your location is actually something quite easy: it's handled automatically by your phone.
All you have to do is to allow the geolocation both at the device and app level. To enable it within the app, simply make sure to visit Settings / Safety & Privacy / Use My Location. Once you're there, just toggle on Use My Location.
I registered the wrong age. How can I change it?
It is very important that you choose your real age for safety and security reasons. You can change your age in your settings but you can’t change it too often.
To change your age follow these steps:
- Go to your profile
- Tap Edit.
- Tap Birthdate and enter your date of birth.
If you have changed your birthdate too many times, you will need to verify your profile to change your birthdate.
I can’t upload profile photos on Yubo.
If you're having trouble uploading a photo from your phone, make sure you've allowed Yubo access to your phone's photo album. If you denied Yubo access to your photos, go to your phone’s settings, find Yubo, and enable photo access.

Deleting your account or uninstalling Yubo will not cancel a subscription. To cancel a subscription you will need to go to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings. Google and Apple suggest subscriptions to be canceled 24 hours before the renewal date to ensure you are not charged for a renewal.
