Unlike other dating sites where you supply all information at once during the signup, SaucyDates requires you to answer one question at a time. This might be time-consuming, but then you are sure you can review and submit correct answers.

The first information needed is your email address. After clicking “Register for free” you will automatically be redirected to the next query: gender.

In this field, you will be required to select your gender from a very inclusive list. Not only can you join on your own, but SaucyDates also lets couples register.

The next form will ask for your sexuality; choose one (or two for the couples) from the list. After clicking “Continue” you will then provide your age. 

The final form requires you to create a password. Afterward, SaucyDates will email a confirmation link. Click it to successfully join SaucyDates.

Just a little note: whenever you sign in to your SaucyDates account, you may be asked to fill out a five-minute survey. The topics covered will be about your sexual encounters and interests—nothing too personal, but if you’d rather not answer you can opt to choose “Skip.”

In terms of communication, SaucyDates does not really offer a lot of ways. Standard and paying members can choose from the following methods:

• Hot Message

Let a member know you’ve got their eyes on them by sending a “Hot” message. This starts a wordless flirtation and who knows, maybe it’ll lead to steamier interactions. The best part is that standard members can send an unlimited number of “Hot” messages, too.

• Flirt Message

Right after confirming your registration, SaucyDates will direct you towards creating a profile. One thing they’ll need from you is a “Flirt Message.” The dating site will send this pre-composed message, on your behalf, to people with similar interests.

• Direct Message

Only available once you subscribed as a VIP, the Direct Message is the most obvious, and well direct, way to make a move. Your subscription will make sure that you can also send messages to international members.

• Match Alert

Match Alerts are something that the dating site will do for you. Like other dating site’s “Suggestion” feature, a Match Alert will let you know about another user who fits your interests.

On the fake profiles issue, maybe the limited means to message other members is something that’s keeping suspicious profiles at bay.

• Name and Age

Located at the top and rightmost portion, your name (screen name if you’d prefer) is nicely displayed on your profile.

Anyone, paying and standard users, browsing a profile will see the contact options. They can send a “Hot” message or contact a member directly. This section also includes the “Report” button should the profile in question look suspicious.

• Orientation

Whichever option you ticked during the “Sexuality” portion of the signup process will be displayed right on top of your photo.

• Photo

You can opt to upload up to nine photos; among these, choose which one will be your primary photo.

• Location

A member’s location will feature their address and the distance from the browser’s position.

• Biography

Write a brief description of your likes—they may be sexual or not, whatever floats your boat.

• Interests

Since SaucyDates is an adult dating and hookup site, your sexual interests will be shown in your profile. You will be asked about this right after you confirmed your registration.

Then again, the rather limiting profiles can be the perfect opportunity for members to think out of the box. A short, but compelling, biography coupled with well-curated photos can greatly pique people's interest, too.

Since messaging is the main feature on this dating site, the only purchase you’ll decide on is if you’ll subscribe to their VIP access. Choose among the four monthly subscription periods: 1, 3, 6, or 12 months worth of VIP access.

With your VIP subscription, you'll get full access to the contact features. You'll be able to read messages, respond, and send images. What's probably neat is that communication won't be limited to the members near you—you can also expand your horizons.
