Marnii is just like any other dating app with a roulette-type matching. Basically, you are presented with a bunch of profiles who have the same intent as yours in the dating app. Basing on appearance and the information on his or her profile, you have the option of whether to like or skip the profile. If the other profile also liked your profile, you will join each other’s Matches list.

Once you get matches, you can start messaging each other. Matches disappear after 48 hours, so should any of you not start a conversation, both of you will disappear from each other’s list.

There is a limited number of profiles to send likes to for free subscribers daily. However, if you get a premium subscription, you can send unlimited likes to profiles plus access to other special features.

Profiles in Marnii don’t show much detail simply because the app encourages matches to get to know each other through a conversation. Profiles show basic information such as the name, age, gender, height, and an introduction paragraph written by the user. Just like other dating apps with roulette-type matching, most members of Marnii have one-liners written on their profile. 

Based on our test, there are no fake profiles in Marnii. Because uploading a profile photo and mobile verification is required, most profiles are authentic and genuine in finding whatever they are looking for on the site. You just have to be careful of catfishing.
